## Download Endpoint


The `download` endpoint serves files with `Content-Disposition: attachment` headers. It supports flavor selection and access control preview limits.

**URL pattern:**

```
https://cdnapisec.kaltura.com/p/\{PARTNER_ID\}/sp/\{PARTNER_ID\}00/download/entry_id/\{ENTRY_ID\}/...
```


| Parameter | Type | Description |
|-----------|------|-------------|
| `flavor` | string | Specific flavor asset ID to download |
| `file_name` | string | Override download filename |
| `ks` | string | Kaltura Session |
| `referrer` | string | Base64-encoded referrer |

When no flavor is specified, selects the best web-playable flavor, falling back to the original source.
