## Effects (Fade In/Out)


Apply video fade transitions to clips.

### KalturaEffect

| Parameter | Type | Description |
|-----------|------|-------------|
| `effectType` | int | 1 = VIDEO_FADE_IN, 2 = VIDEO_FADE_OUT |
| `value` | string | Duration of the effect in seconds (as string) |

### Fade Example

Apply a 2-second fade-in and 3-second fade-out to a clip:
