## Clone & Configure a Template

Cloning creates a copy of a system template on your account. Set your endpoint URL and signing secret at clone time.

### Clone an HTTP Template

### Clone an Email Template

### Clone Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `id` | integer | Yes | System template ID to clone |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[objectType]` | string | Yes | Must match the source template type |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[name]` | string | No | Override display name |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[systemName]` | string | No | Unique system name (must be unique across your account) |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[url]` | string | No | Webhook URL (HTTP templates) |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[method]` | integer | No | 1=GET, 2=POST |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[signSecret]` | string | No | HMAC signing secret |
| `eventNotificationTemplate[secureHashingAlgo]` | integer | No | 1=SHA1, 2=SHA256, 3=SHA384, 4=SHA512, 5=MD5 |

The cloned template inherits the source template's `eventType`, `eventObjectType`, and `eventConditions`. These fields are fixed at clone time.

### Activate the Template

Cloned templates start in DISABLED status. Activate after verifying configuration:
