Hash Type	Security Level	Recommendation
MD5	Low	Legacy only — prefer SHA256+
SHA1	Medium	Default, but SHA256 preferred for new tokens
SHA256	High	Recommended for all new tokens
SHA512	Very High	Use when extra security is needed

Use SHA256 or SHA512 for new tokens. hashType is locked at creation.
