Dimension Control - Content Management
Dimension Control
Control output resolution when composing or concatenating sources with different dimensions.
Dimension Attribute Types
| Type | Behavior |
|---|---|
KalturaAspectRatioCropAttributes | Crops source to target aspect ratio (removes edges) |
KalturaAspectRatioScaleAttributes | Scales to fit target ratio with letterbox/pillarbox (adds black bars) |
KalturaResolutionCropAttributes | Crops to exact pixel dimensions |
Parameters
KalturaAspectRatioCropAttributes / KalturaAspectRatioScaleAttributes:
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
aspectRatioX | int | Width ratio component (e.g., 16) |
aspectRatioY | int | Height ratio component (e.g., 9) |
KalturaResolutionCropAttributes:
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
width | int | Target width in pixels |
height | int | Target height in pixels |
Usage
Dimension attributes apply to KalturaOperationResources (multi-clip concat) via the dimensionsAttributes field:
